Auckland singer-songwriter, Lydia Cole, has been making waves since she made her mark in 2009. She debuted with her EP “Love Will Find A Way” with her stunning voice.
Her second full-length album “The Lay Of The Land” is set to be out on 17 February 2017. In line with this, she has given us a sneak peak with her new single “Telepathise.” Other singles released from “The Lay Of The Land” are “Dream” and “Sober.”
Her singles boast of lyrical artistry, melodic mastery and quiet contemplation. Lydia Cole will be touring New Zealand and Australia in February and March, starting with Brisbane on the 23 February at Junk Bar, Ashgrove. The show starts at 7:30pm.
Lydia Cole’s career has included great moments supporting the likes of Ed Sheeran, Diana Krall, Brooke Fraser and Jose Gonzalez.
Another singer-songwriter who will be coming to Australia is Irish singer, James Vincent McMorrow. He will be doing a national tour early in 2017.
James Vincent McMorrow has a colorful musical history that includes dabbling with folk to R‘n’B. He is an internationally adored singer-songwriter who has released popular hits such as “Higher Love,” “We Don’t Eat,” “Get Low” and “Rising Water.”
He will be supported by rising rock act, Moreton who is rising to fame with the recent release of their debut EP “Specimen.”
He will be performing at Triffid, Newstead on 3 March 2017 at 8pm. This show is suitable for adults.
