Brisbane Cycling Festival
Brisbane Cycling Festival 2020 is a massive citywide event that will host the Tour de Brisbane, Track National Championships and Six Day Series Final, offering lots to spectate in the streets along with family entertainment, cycling workshops, film nights, light displays and more in locations all over the city. For 25 days, expect plenty to see and do from March 12 to April 5.
Brisbane World Science Festival
Taking over the Queensland Cultural Centre in South Bank, World Science Festival Brisbane is back with free science and art exhibitions, live talks and workshops for 2020, set for another huge turnout with something for all to learn and be inspired by. Join the crowds in Southbank from March 25 to March 29.
Brisbane Anzac Day Parade 2020
Held annually, Anzac Day Parade is Queensland’s largest commemoration, attended by over 25,000 people each year at none other than Anzac Square Brisbane. This year marks the 104th anniversary, which will once more see an honorary march take place in Brisbane’s CBD on April 25 following an early dawn service at the Shrine of Remembrance.
Brisbane Street Art Festival
See Brisbane’s major precincts come alive with creative expression in May for Brisbane Street Art Festival, set to attract artists from all over Australia and around the globe. Expect free live art and public outdoor exhibits, along with workshops for those looking to hone their talents. Spanning over two weeks, don’t miss it from May 2 to May 17.
Brisbane Anywhere Festival
Arriving alongside Brisbane Street Art Festival, Anywhere Festival returns to Brisbane for 18 days of daily outdoor theatre in the city’s main streets and precincts. A long-running successful event that’s now in its 10th year, Anywhere Festival takes theatre out of the venue and to the wider public, offering a diverse range of performances for all to watch for free.
