The Brisbane City Gospel Choir has a show you definitely shouldn’t miss! The NCGC sound is all about combining the richness of contemporary gospel music with an underlying musical taste spanning different contemporary styles. All in all, it’s bound to be a treat filled with rich harmonies on 18 March 2017 at 2pm at Downs Street, Redcliffe.
The Queensland Symphony Orchestra will be performing Vienna: City of Dreams. The show will explore the glittering cultural jewel that is Vienna. It will be a morning of glorious music which includes waltzes, polkas and a roll-call of your favourite orchestral works.
After the concert, you may head to the QPAC café to indulge on ice cream cake and coffee to complete your perfect morning!
This will be held on 19 March 2017 at 11:30am at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre.
The next day, there will be a show by Paris Combo on Grey Street.
Paris Combo has six albums and two decades’ worth of musical experience as a band that has toured the world. They create a piquant and intriguing sound with their unique French cosmopolitan sound. Their sound is most akin to that of swinging gypsy jazz, cabaret, French pop, among others.
Their show will be on 20 March at 7:30pm at Grey Street, South Brisbane.
