Booking & Check-In

Information about bookings, payments and check-in.

Q: What time is check-in and check-out?

Check In: 14.00pm

Check Out: 10.00am

Any early arrivals are welcome to leave their luggage until 2:00pm

Q: Do you require a security bond upon check-in?

You must provide a credit card at the time of check in. An imprint will be taken on the credit card.

VISA, Mastercard Only

American Express is accepted however please note there is a 4.4% surcharge.

We do not accept cash bonds!

Q: Is after hours check-in available?

After hours check in is available.  

There is an intercom located outside the reception doors and further instructions will be given from the night service team. Please contact Abbey on Roma if you are arriving after 9pm Monday - Friday or 8pm on the weekends

Q: Can I have a late check-out?

Late check out is conditional and subject to availability.

12 noon is the latest departure time availble.

Anyone checking out after this time will incur in 1 nights fee.

Q: When do I have to pay a deposit?

48 hours prior to your arrival, we will deduct the full amount of the accommodation off the credit card provided at the time of making the booking.

If you are a 3rd party paying for the accommodation and/or extras, you are required to complete a credit card authority form.

Q: What are the reception hours?

Monday to Friday 7am - 9pm

Saturday - Sunday 8am - 8pm

Public Holidays 8am - 8pm

Check in & checkout is avaliable outside these hours. please contact the reception for process 

Q: Can I book local attraction tickets at reception

You can book all your local attractions tickets online via our online booking service - http://abbeyonroma.experienceoz.com.au/brisbane

You can always come to see our lovely front desk staff who will be happy to organised and book any tours for you.

Services & Facilities FAQ's

General information about our accommodation services and on-site facilities.

Q: Is there Internet or WiFi access available?

Cable broadband is avaliable in the apartments.

Wifi is avaliable in the reception area only.

You will be given one 2 hour code for FREE internet upon your stay if requested.

Q: What facilities do you have?

Swimming pool, spa and hot sauna is avaliable for guests on Level 2

Q: Is there car parking available?

Carparking is avaliable on site. Please contact us on 07 3236 0600 or email us at

It MUST be reserved prior to arrival and it is $20 per vehicle, per night.

Only 1 car per booking.

Q: Is all linen provided?

All linen and amenities are supplied during your stay. Any additional linen (extra bedding) will incur a fee of $30 per night.

Q: How often are the apartments serviced?

The apartments are service depending on the length of your stay.

Usually it is every 3 days you will receieve a mini service where your towels will be changed and your amenities will be re-stocked.

Location FAQ's

General information about our location.

Q: How close is Surfers Paradise & Broadbeach?

Surfers Paradise is 1 hour and 10 mins from Abbey On Roma. You can drive directly down the M1.

You can also walk across the road to Roma street Transit centre and catch the train or a bus.

Q: Are there shops or restaurants nearby?

There is a café located on the corner of our building and only 5 minutes walk on George Street, you have a variety of other restaurants.  Across the road at the Transit Station, you have McDonald’s and KFC.  Queen Street Mall is a 15 minute walk heading on George Street.  The Barracks is a ten minute walk heading on Upper Roma Street.

Q: Is there public transport nearby?

There is a taxi phone at reception for your convenience. The main transit station is across the road from our apartments where all the buses and trains are located.

Q: What local attractions are in the area?

Q: How far away is Brisbane Airport and how do I get there?

Airtrain - Airtrain leaves from Domestic and International terminals and will bring you directly to Roma Street Station which is located across the street from us.

Taxi - A taxi can cost anywhere between $40-$60 from the Airport

Limosine or Business car can be arranged by Reception for $55.00 flat rate

Q: Where can I buy groceries locally?

You can buy groceries from the corner 7eleven, which is a 2 minute walk or there is a major Coles at The Barracks and a small Coles at Queen Street Mall.
